In 2019, British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) driver Ash Sutton stunned fans by clinching the title with a record-breaking performance—winning 10 races in a single season, the most in BTCC history.  Touring car racing utilizes vehicles that resemble road-going sedans, but with modified engines, while competing on a closed circuit. This racing involves bumper-to-bumper battles, aggressive overtakes, and high-speed drama; this motorsport blends accessibility with adrenaline in a way few others can.  Popular series include the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), World Touring Car Cup (WTCR), and Supercars Championship in Australia.​​​​​​​
